In the previous post about shaking some visual cobwebs, I mentioned scrambling around the hillside behind our home with my daughter, Haven. Let this serve as evidence that I'm not a liar.
We live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada's just south of Yosemite. You're might have heard that California has been going through a bit of a severe drought in the last few years. However, this last week brought a storm that hasn't been matched in 20 years. A little warmer than what we really need so the snow pack didn't build as much as what's needed to help through the hot summers, but we'll take it.
The hill behind us was swollen with water and offered new explorations with the land that my kids have yet to experience in this condition. It's cool to see and weird to think about.
Any way, I made some pictures.
